YIMBYTown 2025

Last week, the NC Housing Table had the privilege of participating in #YIMBYtown 2025 in New Haven, Connecticut — the national convening of housing advocates, researchers, and policymakers working to expand attainable housing.

This gathering reinforced the urgency of our work in North Carolina and provided fresh strategies we can bring back to our coalition, including:
✅ Innovative approaches to zoning and parking reform
✅ Community-driven ADU models
✅ Best practices for building statewide coalitions

We returned energized and ready to strengthen partnerships across NC — from legislators to local leaders — to advance policies that create more opportunities for residents to live, work, and thrive.
