Winston Salem Policy Dinner Recap

The North Carolina Housing Table continued its statewide policy dinner series in Winston-Salem, convening influential voices from across the Triad to discuss housing access, zoning reform, and inclusive growth.

The evening was moderated by Executive Director Denzel D. Burnside III and featured insightful participation from Senator Paul Lowe, Representative Jeff Zenger, Representative Amber Baker, and Councilwoman Regina Hall, among other distinguished housing leaders, advocates, and developers from the region.

Together, attendees explored local challenges and innovative pathways to expand attainable housing, improve zoning equity, and strengthen collaboration between state and municipal leaders. The discussion underscored a shared commitment to ensuring that every North Carolinian has access to safe, affordable, and sustainable housing.

Many thanks to the Buckeye Community Hope Foundation for their sponsorship support of this initiative. The NC Housing Table also extends sincere gratitude to all participants and community partners who are helping advance housing solutions across the state.
